Wedding Recap

On the whole, all went very well.  The ceremony was simple, funny, cute, and enjoyable.  My lil princess was fantastic as a flower girl.  I'm proud of my brother, and welcome my new SIL to the family.  Moms didn't cry, but she came close...and it was good to see my father, I'm glad he made it, and got to meet his grandkids as well as his 2 daughters-in-law.  My wife looked pretty damn good, I might add. #biased.  The reception was a good party!  I didn't drink too much, since my girls were there, but had a great time, nonetheless.

Okay, I might stick around this time

Soooo it's been almost 2 years since my last blog entry.  Gee, what the hell have I been up to?!?!  *shrugs* dah well.  I'm not going to give a full recap of my life since that time, but I will try to be a bit more active going forward....and I mean it this time!  Hey, no time like the present.

Exciting weekend ahead.  My lil brother is getting married and I'm extremely happy for him and my new SIL.  Feeling good about having all my favorite people together.  Between the wife, daughter, momz, brother, cousins, friends, and some general acquaintances...all being in town, it's gonna be a party!

My father is also coming to town for the wedding (arriving today, actually) and I'm glad he'll be here.  Granted, we're not close, but I don't despise him, nor have any vitriol or any negative feelings toward him.  He is my father, and I respect him.  I haven't seen him in over 10 years...so I'm glad that my Princess (who's 8), will get to finally meet her Grandfather.  Not to mention, introduce him to my wife, as well.  Between my brother and I, he'll be meeting 3 grandchirrens for the first time...so that may be a lil overwhelming on all fronts, and I'm aware of that, and will be appreciative of the moments.

Ok, so like I said earlier, I'll be a bit more active with this blogging thing.  There are times when I'm chatty, and others when I'm not thinking about a damn thing.  So if you're gonna follow along here are some rules:
