a long, long time ago...in a land 900 miles away there was nothing more important to me than those numbers: 10 & 20. Of course, I couldn't see anything past my face, or my immediate future, but I knew that those numbers would be with me for the rest of my life.
Fast forward to present day and while I do still remember what these numbers signify in my life, they don't hold the same meaning they once did. I might go so far to say that the next time I see those numbers (together) they'll mean even less.
*yes, I know I'm being a bit opaque. Some things I'm not sure how to say...not even with my fingers*
Maybe I've discovered some newer numbers that hold more significance. Maybe the reasons to appreciate those numbers have dissipated. Maybe I'm truly ready to get past them entirely. Maybe. Maybe not.
